Texas A&M University System – TAMMA Hall Building Envelope Repair
Tellepsen Builders, L.P., serving as Design-Build partner for the Texas A&M University
System, and in accordance with Texas Government Code 2269, will receive proposals from
qualified subcontractors and vendor trades for the TAMMA Hall Building Envelope Repair.
The project is located at Texas A&M University in Galveston, 200 Seawolf Parkway,
Galveston, Texas 77554. This project comprises the general construction of the demolition and
replacement of the TAMMA Hall building envelope including but not limited to roofing
elements, stucco façade, window systems, and masonry located on the Texas A&M University
at Galveston campus for the Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System.
Proposals are due to Tellepsen Builders L.P., by 2:00 PM local time on
Wednesday, August 06, 2025 via email to btaker@tellepsen.com, or hand/mail delivery to
Tellepsen at 777 Benmar Drive, Suite 400, Houston, TX 77060. Documents will be distributed
by Tellepsen via SmartBidNet to interested subcontractors and vendors. To request an
invitation, contact Vaibhav Malhotra vmalhotra@tellepsen.com. LATE PROPOSALS
WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. All proposals will be held open for 90 calendar days from bid date.
Please be advised that all Subcontractors/Suppliers must complete a pre-qualification
application and be “Approved” prior to the issuance of any subcontract/purchase order
agreement with Tellepsen Builders. Please contact Lena Delay on 281-272-4993 to request a
pre-qualification invitation.
It is the policy of Texas A&M University System and Tellepsen Builders, L.P., to actively seek
the involvement of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) in its construction projects.
Texas A&M University System and Tellepsen Builders, L.P., recognizes probable
subcontracting opportunities for Historically Underutilized Businesses in the proposal
package. HUB subcontracting plan (HSP) and certification forms, as required by the
package documents, shall accompany each proposal that is submitted. Proposals
submitted without all required information, and in the order and manner specified, may
result in the proposal being considered non-responsive.
Texas A&M University System, the owner, reserves the right to waive any informality and/or to
reject any or all proposals.
