The ABC Political Action Committee (PAC) is dedicated to protecting, preserving, and advancing the democratic process and the free enterprise system. We work to elect and educate policymakers at all levels of government, ensuring they understand the critical issues facing the construction industry. Through strategic engagement, advocacy, and support, we champion the merit shop philosophy, promoting fair competition and workforce opportunities that drive economic growth and industry excellence.

SAFETY
The Safety Committee is committed to promoting a culture of safety excellence within the construction industry. Their mission is to research and share the latest safety programs, provide members with valuable safety information through the OSHA Partnership, monitor and enhance ABC’s safety curriculum, develop comprehensive safety documents and manuals, and encourage participation in the STEP program. Through education, collaboration, and proactive safety initiatives, they strive to reduce workplace hazards, prevent fatalities, and ensure the highest standards of safety for all ABC members.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
The Workforce Development Committee exists to promote, strengthen, and support construction industry workforce education by building awareness, access, and pathways to careers in commercial and industrial construction. The committee works collaboratively with public schools, community colleges, training providers, and industry partners to develop a skilled, safety-focused, and job-ready workforce that meets the current and future needs of the construction industry. Through engagement with educators, students, and contractors, the committee advances craft training, career exploration, and professional development opportunities for individuals pursuing careers in the trades.

The ABC Event Committee is dedicated to planning and executing high-quality events that enhance the value of ABC membership. MEMBER SERVICES
Member Services Committee actively promote ABC events and training opportunities offered by ABC/CMEF to prospective members and the broader construction community through meaningful networking. They are committed to personally welcoming each new member, serving as their primary point of contact, and guiding them in maximizing the benefits of their ABC membership. By fostering engagement and participation, they aim to strengthen relationships within the industry and support the professional growth of the members.
