ABC Houston closed out the year in style with its annual Christmas Party and the inauguration of the 2026 Board of Directors, hosted at the Hotel ZaZa Museum District. The festive evening brought together more than 250 members and guests for a night of celebration, connection, and reflection on the year ahead. Guests enjoyed live music, great food, and an energetic atmosphere as the chapter officially welcomed its 2026 leadership team. The inauguration marked an important milestone, recognizing the volunteer leaders who will guide ABC Houston in the coming year.
The 2026 Executive Team includes:
Chairwoman: Sarina Landers, Corvus Construction
Chair-Elect: Abe Polatsek, Dunhill Construction
Vice Chair: Aaron Shermer, Bayou City Industrial Services
Secretary: Cecil Zachary, Satterfield & Pontikes Construction
Treasurer: Taylor Short, FORVIS
Past Chair: John Golashesky, Turner Industries
The evening also featured a silent auction benefiting ABC’s Political Action Committee (PAC). Thanks to the generosity of attendees and sponsors, the auction raised more than $10,000 to support advocacy efforts that protect free enterprise and the merit shop philosophy.
The celebration was a perfect blend of holiday cheer and purpose, setting a strong and inspiring tone as ABC Houston looks ahead to another impactful year under the leadership of its 2026 Board of Directors.
