Associated Builders and Contractors Greater Houston is proud to announce that 41 member companies have earned national recognition on ABC National’s 2026 Top Performers lists, highlighting outstanding achievements in health and safety, quality, workforce development, and project excellence. Companies are ranked by the number of hours worked, demonstrating both strong performance and significant impact across the industry.

To qualify, ABC Top Performers must achieve Gold status or higher in ABC’s STEP? Health and Safety Management System. STEP helps leading contractors achieve incident rates nearly seven times safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average, according to ABC’s Health and Safety Performance Report. Honorees must also earn ABC’s Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) credential, recognizing excellence in quality, safety performance, talent management, craft and management education and community relations.
