Study Hall is held during business hours on Monday through Thursday from 7am – 4pm & Fridays from 7am - 3pm in a quiet classroom at the CMEF office. The classroom is fully equipped for the students’ needs. Upon arrival, the student is provided a pen, paper and study aides - including curriculum material - to help guide them through the curriculum. Data indicates that individual preparation and time spent utilizing the study aides provided at Study Hall has helped improve assessment grades and understanding of crafts.

CMEF’s assessment and evaluation are both held at the La Porte location.
Assessments are Monday through Friday from 7am to 1pm. Practicals are performed on an appointment basis. Exam times and dates are subject to change. For rates or to register, please contact the CMEF office at 281-478-3900 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHAT ARE SKILLS ASSESSMENT?
CMEF Skills Assessments are designed to assess the knowledge of craft workers who are not currently enrolled nor have they ever enrolled in formal craft training. The assessment is not a "pass/fail" test, but rather an evaluation of the craft worker's knowledge gained from their field experience.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE ASSESSMENT?
After the assessment, both the employee and employer will receive a score report along with a "training prescription" which identifies those areas in which training is recommended. The training prescription will target module numbers in the NCCER Standardized Craft Curriculum, identifying a specific module for each recommended area of study. CMEF is proud to offer Skills Upgrade Training classes. These module-based classes are designed to focus only on the areas training is needed without having to send the student through an entire semester of college.
NCCER Computer Based assessments are Monday through Friday 7:30am to 12:40pm (On Fridays, Pipefitting, Millwright, and Crane assessments stop at 11:30am). All NCCER ASSESSMENTS are given at the CMEF Office Located at 2950 East X Street, La Porte TX 77571.
