Rigging Fundamentals Class

Learn to identify three types of slings (wire, synthetics, and chain), understand inspection and rejection criteria for slings and hardware, basic hitches and proper connections, learn how to read capacity chards for slings and hardware, and recognize ANSI hand signals.

Instructor Certification Training Program Class (ICTP)

Instructor Certification Training Program, or ICTP, prepares and certifies individuals to instruct craft workers in the Contren craft-training curriculum. The program provides proven techniques for preparing and conducting craft training. Individuals who successfully complete the ICTP will improve their instructional skills, gain insight into how adults learn and learn how to make instructional methods more effective.
Taught by Master Trainers certified by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), this 24 hour course includes topics on NCCER training, how learning occurs, communication for learning, leadership and group dynamics, administration and classroom management, using the Contren, teaching strategies, instructional aids, and evaluation techniques. October 16th & October 23rd for instructors ONLY Half day on October 16th for Performance Evaluators $200 Craft Instructor /$80 Performance Evaluator Due to heavy demand, registrations need to be received by October 9th!
